Remove Duplicates

Remove Duplicates

When importing Teaching Data from your MIS, sometimes you will see the Remove Duplicates step. If you have no duplicates in your data, it will automatically skip past this step. If you do have duplicates you will need to resolve these before continuing with the import. Duplicates are students with multiple subject entries for the same subject, usually caused by the student having multiple teaching sets for the same subject.

To resolve this error, press the red Remove All Unresolved Rows button, which will allow you to delete the duplicates and keep one entry:

If you would like to keep multiple sets or teachers for one subject entry, you will need to enter the multiple sets or teachers names within one cell in your spreadsheet e.g. '13AB/13CD', 'Mr AB/Mrs CD'
