You can now access the DfE accountability measures for A Level within the Connect platform. These include headline metrics such as best 3 A Levels, average point score and students achieving AAB in 2 facilitating subjects.
To access the A Level Performance Measures, first select your Gradepoint in step 1 of the homepage, then navigate to the Performance Measures zone and click Choose.
This will open the Performance Measures menu, where you can either select from the three options to go straight to that metric, or select View KS5 PM to go to the overview page. Once in the overview page, you'll see two graphs, one for Average Grade/Point Score and one for Grade Distribution. Below the graphs, the tables will show the Summary Profile for all A Levels, Grade Distribution Profile, and students Achieving AAB in two Facilitating Subjects:
If you click into the Best 3 A Levels tab, this will switch the tables to show the Best 3 Summary Profile and Grade Distribution:
The third tab is the Prior Attainment Profile, which breaks your cohort down into the different Prior Attainment bandings, showing the Average A Level Point Score for all A Levels and for Best 3:
To filter your analysis, simply use the Apply Comparisons drop down and select an contextual field. In the example below, the Gender filter has been applied, dividing the graph and tables into Male and Female. You can also switch the values from percentage to count using the %/Count Toggle indicated below:
