A Level Summit Performance Measures

A Level Summit Performance Measures

As of April 2025, we have integrated DfE A level Performance Measures into the Summit platform. These areas mimic the Performance Measure zones available for Connect users.

There are two zones available from the Summit homepage:

1. A level Performance Measures: Group Overview (all)
2. A level Performance Measures: Individual Providers

The two sections will add DfE PMs and raw attainment metrics into Summit for A level only. There are display pages showing the overview of metrics for all schools and colleges in the MAT, LA or Group, and individual summary pages for each school/college. These sections are available for any Gradepoint Trend set up within Summit - examination trend, in-year monitoring trend or elements of both.

Together the new sections will bring all A level strategic measures into Summit for the first time, and stops the need for MAT leaders to access each Connect account to see the headline figures. For LA leaders, it represents a new set of strategic measures which have not previously been accessible from Summit accounts.

For an overview, please see our video guide below:

A Level PM: Individual Providers

In this section each school/college is shown on a separate page and you can move between schools/colleges by clicking on the centre name in the header.

This section covers the metrics detailed above and mirrors those in the Connect sections at school/college level. The tiles at the top of each page display APS and Average Grade at school/college level. The attainment percentages are the raw cumulative percentages for A level for the main Gradepoint selected.

There are data tables and graphs highlighting trends in the headline measures over time. Comparison filters can be applied to all tables and charts to compare key groups of students for each of these measures and determine priorities from any gaps in attainment outcomes accordingly.
