In Summit, the Banded by Prior Attainment (BBPA) zone allows you to analyse the providers in your group by the different prior attainment bands.
Step-by-step Guide
Before you use the analysis zone, make sure you have selected your Gradepoint Trend, if you need to change it you can by clicking Change The GP Trend. Then click View Analysis in the Prior Attainment Analysis zone.
This will open BBPA Analysis, and you can use the Qualification Filter to select which one you'd like to analyse.
This will bring up the overview table, with the different prior attainment bands on the left side. The table tells you the number of entries, average prior attainment and Quality Indicator Score and Grade for each band.
If you would like to see the separate provider scores, simply press the downward chevron next to each band to open a list. If you are a MAT, clicking any of the providers in the list will take you to their Connect account:
If you'd like to drill down further into your data, you can use the filter drop downs above the table. You can filter for specific schools/colleges, Custom Groups, Alps Comparisons (e.g. Gender, Ethnicity) and Custom Comparisons. Simply make your selection in each drop down and press Apply to filter the table.
You can also export your analysis to Excel, using the Downloads button.
