In Alps Connect you can import your CAT4 scores to use as Prior Attainment for KS4 and KS5. 

During the first step of the Student Data import, you will be asked to select a Prior Attainment type, CAT4 MeanSAS will be an option for all your year groups. For more information on importing Student Data please find guidance here.

You can import your CAT4 data in your initial Student Data upload, or you can add it afterwards by clicking + Add Data under the Prior Attainment heading.

You may need to map your columns (although the export from GL will automatically map correctly), you can map the Mean SAS, each of the batteries and the Learning Bias.

If you want to use another Prior Attainment type but not all of your students have that data, you can use one of our conversion files (attached to this guide) to convert the CAT4 Mean SAS to a score in the same Alps Band.
