Alps includes P8 measures in Connect. However, with no SATs taking place in 2020 or 2021, current Year 9 and 10 students will not have KS2 SAT scores to use as a baseline for target setting.
Whilst this presents a headache for the DfE, who are yet to elaborate on the short-term future of Progress 8, the majority of schools will still want systems that enable aspirational target-setting and the ability to both track progress through KS4 and evaluate results from a value-added perspective in 2025 and 2026.
