Important updates and information

Key Stage 5: update on 
National Benchmarks

We are in the process of generating benchmarks from the 2024 DfE dataset. Benchmarks for Key Stage 5 will be released into the platform from May 2025 beginning with A level. 


The incremental analysis of the datasets will be published via this link:

AT8 Update Reminder 

At the end of February 2025, the DfE released the revised Attainment 8 averages for 2024. The calculation of Progress 8 within Connect is now based on these revised averages. All KS4 gradepoints from September 2023 onwards in Connect have been re-calculated to read from the revised average tables. The Progress 8 values for the majority of schools and colleges remain unchanged from the estimated averages table incorporated in December 2024.
