Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

At Alps, we understand the importance of keeping your information safe. To enhance the protection of your account, we have an optional MFA feature. Enabling MFA will add a layer of protection to your existing password sign-in process.

Setting up MFA with Email Address Passcodes

Login and go to Manage Account and select Multi-Factor Authentication:

Then go to the Multi-Factor Authentication section and make sure Multi-Factor Authentication is turned on and toggle Email on:

Then click 'Next' to email the six digit code to yourself:

Type in the code, and then click 'Submit':

Click the 'Success' button to complete the setup:

Now, whenever you login to Connect, you'll be asked for a six digit code that gets sent to your email after typing in your username and password you use to login to Connect:

Setting up MFA with Mobile Authenticator App

To set up MFA with your mobile device, please see our video guide below:

Deactivating MFA for your Account

You can deactivate MFA by going back to the MFA section within Manage Account. Simply click on the green toggle under the email option and then click the 'Deactivate' button to stop using MFA to login to Connect:

Once you have deactivated MFA you will then be able to login to Connect as normal without being asked for a six digit code.
