T Levels in Alps Connect Analysis - October 2026

T Levels in Alps Connect Analysis - October 2026

T Levels now available in Alps Connect

From 2nd October 2026, T Level qualifications will pull through into Alps Connect analysis. Once your T Levels are imported, your students' results will appear alongside your other post-16 qualifications, so you can review T Level outcomes in the same place as the rest of your KS5 data.

Importing T Levels

You can import T levels in the same way as all other qualifications. For guidance on this please see our article: Creating a Monitoring Point

We have the following T level mappings available in Alps Connect:

T Level TQ - Accounting
T Level TQ - Agriculture
T Level TQ - Animal Care
T Level TQ - Building for Construction
T Level TQ - Craft & Design
T Level TQ - Design for Construction
T Level TQ - Design for Manufacturing
T Level TQ - Digital Business Services
T Level TQ - Digital Data Analytics
T Level TQ - Digital Production Design
T Level TQ - Digital Software Development
T Level TQ - Digital Support & Security

Please note: if you have previously imported T levels into Connect, you will have used separate subject mappings for the Core and Occupational Specialism grades. We no longer require separate grades to be imported, so if you would like to view analysis for any historic gradepoints you will need to remap to the TQ subject mappings, and update the grades to be in the format D*, D, M, P.

Where you'll see T Levels

T Levels are available in Strategic Analysis and Subject Analysis. Please be aware T levels are not currently included in the National Benchmark and therefore will not produce MEGs or value added analysis at this stage.

Strategic Analysis: Attainment Profile

To see the attainment profile for all T levels, go to Strategic Analysis and start an Interactive Session. You'll see your T Levels side by side, with the number of exams, the grade breakdown and cumulative percentages (D*>P %, D*>M %, D*>D %) per subject, as well as overall in the totals row. You can use the Apply Comparisons drop down to split the table into different comparisons groups such as Gender, SEND and Disadvantage.

Subject Analysis: Attainment

To view attainment by subject, open a T Level in Subject Analysis and go to the Attainment tab. The Grade Distribution Profile shows the cumulative D*>D, D*>M and D*>P outcomes, with a grade table underneath. You can use the Count/Percent toggle to switch between numbers of students and percentages.

Choose a Comparison Gradepoint to compare against another monitoring point; the Difference column shows the change.

The Trends tab shows each T level student's grade progress between data points. Pick a Comparison Gradepoint to see the trend line and the difference for every student.
