Adding Welsh National Test Scores

Adding Welsh National Test Scores

At Key Stage 4 in Wales, we use an average of the Year 8 Welsh National Test scores as Prior Attainment, or baseline, for your students.

To add WNT scores, navigate to the Cohorts page found in the Data Management tab in the left menu. Click on the +Add Data button under the Prior Attainment header from the Cohorts page in your year group workspace:

Then, download the template from the 3rd step of the import. To download the template, you can click here from the first bullet point:

Populate the template with the UPN and Year 8 WNT Standardised Scores for your students:

Please save the template locally and populate. If you have * or ** in your data then please change these to 69 and 141 respectively.

Once this is done, import your WNT file using the wizard and click Next.

The scores will be calculated for you, and will be matched to your students present in the selected Year Group using the UPN.
