- What is the UX/UI update?
The update involves a new design for the homepage and improvements to navigation across the analysis sections in Connect.
How do I enable the new UX/UI for staff at my school?
The new design will be automatically released to all customers in June 2025.
How do I enable or disable the new UX/UI for a specific staff member?

- Will the new UX/UI change the way I upload exam results?
No, the process for uploading exam results and other monitoring data will remain the same. The Manage data section’s layout and navigation will also stay the same.
- Will the new UXUI change how I upload data into Connect?
No, the process for uploading student, prior attainment, teaching, and grades data will not change.
Does the new UX/UI come at an additional cost?

User guides and help documents will be available in the Knowledge Base. Please bear with us as we update the screenshots.
Will I still be able to use Live Chat?
Yes! As part of the redesign, Live Chat will now be available directly within Connect. It will also remain accessible in the Knowledge Base.
Why are you changing the UX/UI? I prefer the old design, especially the hover function.
We received feedback from some Alps users that navigation in Connect can be quite tricky and it can take several clicks to find specific areas. The new user interface has been carefully designed to make navigation simple and efficient.
For example, we’ve removed the hover function in the analysis sections and replaced it with easy-to-use navigation tabs:

Will both Connect and Summit change?
Yes, the homepage layout and navigation have also been updated for Summit users.
Will the UX/UI changes impact my user permissions and embargo settings?
No, your existing user permissions and embargo settings will remain unchanged. You can verify these in the Manage Users section.
