Uploading Ascent KS3 Students File

Preparing Data

To import students into Alps Ascent, you will need to prepare a .csv file structured with the following columns in order: Student ID, Forename, Surname, Gender, Disadvantage, SEND and EAL

To access our Student template file, navigate to the Data Management tab, select Students and click the Template File button to download.

Uploading Student Files

Once you have prepared your students file, click Upload File. In the upload page, select your csv file and click Upload
Once the file is uploaded, it will be validated and checked for any errors. If no errors are found, a green notification will appear to confirm the upload was successful:


If any errors are found, you will be notified and asked to reupload:
