Summit Strategic Analysis

The Strategic Analysis zone in Summit allows you to analyse the contextual and overall value-added data for your LA/MAT/Group and at individual provider level. 

Step-by-step Guide

Before you start your analysis, you first need to check you have selected the correct Gradepoint Trend in. You will be able to see the current selected trend in step 1 and if you wish to change this simply press Change The GP Trend.


Once you trend is selected, click View Analysis in the Strategic Analysis zone:


This will open Strategic Analysis, and you can use the Qualification Filter to select which one you'd like to analyse. 


This will bring up the overall analysis for that qualification type across all providers in your group. It offers overall metrics such as the Average Prior Attainment Score, Red/Blue Teaching & Learning percentages and Provider Quality Indicator Grade:


If you'd like to view each individual provider within your group, simply press the downwards chevron next to each indicator to open a list:


If you'd like to drill down further into your data, you can use the filter drop downs above the table. You can filter for specific schools/colleges, Custom Groups, Alps Comparisons (e.g. Gender, Ethnicity) and Custom Comparisons. Simply make your selection in each drop down and press Apply to filter the table. 



You can also export your analysis to Excel, using the Downloads button.
