Students not included in Key Indicator Calculations
Value added progress cannot be calculated for students without a prior achievement score. The Alps report will show you the individual students did not have a prior achievement score in the data file you submitted to Alps.
Please check that these are the same students that did not have prior attainment scores for Progress 8 at KS4 or for the L3VA at KS5.
If you have prior achievement scores for students you can add the prior achievement score to your data file using Connect Data. Open Connect Data and add the prior achievement scores by importing an additional spreadsheet or by entering scores manually in your cohort data file. If you have large numbers of students without prior attainment data you may still wish to monitor their progress in year using Connect.
