In Alps Connect, you can export your Student Analysis directly to Excel or PDF for any selected Gradepoint.
In the Student Analysis zone, you will see the the export buttons appear above the table, to the right of your screen. Please note if you are zoomed in, buttons will collate under More Actions.
Excel Export
After pressing the Excel export button, you will be asked to name your export, then press Export Excel.
The Excel file will automatically download to your browser, and you can download it to your device from there. The Excel file contains four tabs, the first tab is our Student Performance Report Guidance, that offers an overview of the data included in the file.
Tab 2, the SPO Summary, gives your overall headline metrics for students on, above or below the Alps MEGs:
Tab 3, the SPO - Report Format, breaks down you headline metrics by student, showing students on, above or below the Alps MEGs:
If you scroll to the right of tab 3, you can see each student's subject entries for the selected Gradepoint and a comparison to the Alps MEGs and Personalised Targets if you have uploaded them:
Tab 4, the SPO - Grid Format, includes the same data as tab 3 in a marksheet format, with your subjects in the top row of the sheet.
PDF Export
The Student Analysis PDF export produces student report cards.
After clicking the PDF export button, you will be asked to name your PDF file, then press Export PDF:
This will request the PDF and you'll see the confirmation appear:
When your report is ready, you will see a notification appear on the bell icon in the top right of your screen. Click the bell to open the notifications panel, and press Click to download report.
The PDF report will appear in your browser downloads, from which you can download to your device. The report includes individual report cards for each student with grade entries in your selected Gradepoint. Each card shows the subject entries, the Minimum Expected Grade (MEG), Personalised Target (PT) if you've uploaded them, and the grade achieved. Grades are colour coded to reflect whether the student is on, above, or below target:
- Red - on or above target
- Pink - lower of split grade target
- Grey - below target by 1 grade
- Blue - below target by more than 1 grade
