Monitoring Timelines & Trends

Monitoring Timelines & Trends

In Summit, if you are a MAT, you can set up Monitoring Timelines to track in-year progress across the MAT. By defining set data points, your schools and colleges can upload their in-year results into the data points you set up, ready for analysis in Summit.

Monitoring Timeline Setup

To set up your timeline, click into the Group Setup Management tab and click Monitoring Timeline

In the Monitoring Timeline screen, select your academic year and key stage under the Set Configuration heading and then press Create New Monitoring Point.

This will open a pop up, where you can name your Monitoring Point, select the included year groups and then set the window in which data can be uploaded to it. When finished, press Add Monitoring Point. This will add your Monitoring Point to the list and will be available for your schools to upload data to in the data entry window.

To analyse a Summit Monitoring Point, you first need to create your Trend. A Trend is a collection of Gradepoints that can be used for analysis and comparison within Summit. To setup your Trend, first click into Group Setup Management, and then select Monitoring Timeline

In the Monitoring Timeline screen, go to Analysis Setup in the left menu and select Gradepoints/Trends

In the Trends screen, click the Add a Trend button.

This will open a pop up, where you can name your trend and then select the Gradepoints you wish to include using the drop down filters. Once you have selected and arranged them, press Add Trend

Once the trend has been added, press Save Trends in the bottom right corner:
