Connect Results Embargo Access

Early access permissions during the results embargo period are available for key senior staff.

The early access permissions are defined as follows:

· For Key Stage 5, early access permissions will be in operation between 12.01am on the Wednesday prior to A level results day and operate until 9.30am on the Thursday results day.

· For Key Stage 4, early access permissions will be in operation between 12.01am on the Wednesday prior to KS4 results day and operate until 9.30am on the Thursday results day.

This will ensure that from 12.01am on the embargo day, key senior staff will be able to see Connect analysis once results are upload.

Note: all other centre staff will be able to view Connect analysis from 9:30am on results days.

Setting permissions:

Admin users can set up early access permissions for key senior staff through the user management page.

Note: All senior staff who request early access permissions must also be admin users for the centre Connect account.

Access the Manage Users area from the Connect Homepage (you must be an administrator to access this area)

You will see a column in the table here called ‘Early Access’ which allows you to see at a glance who has this permission, to make a change click the edit pencil:

To toggle Early Access on, the users will also need to be an admin.

Click save.

The user will now have to log out of Connect and log back in for the permissions to take effect.
