At Alps, we produce Client Benchmarks, generated from examination outcomes submitted to us by our schools and colleges. In Alps Connect, you have the option to switch your benchmark between our Client Benchmark and National Benchmark. To access the benchmark selector, you will need to have been granted access by an account administrator. To give access, admin users can navigate to the manage users section to edit an individual users and use the toggle under Client Benchmarks to grant access:
To access the Benchmark Selector you can either click the benchmark lozenge located in the top navigation bar, or click into the Analysis Settings tab in the left menu and click either Session Benchmark Toggle or Account Benchmark Selector.
The Session Benchmark Toggle allows you to temporarily select your benchmark for your current Connect session and will only apply to your account. The Account Benchmark Selector will select the default benchmark for all users and they will be notified if this is changed.
The benchmark screen will show you details about our benchmarks and advice for the best benchmark to use depending on the academic year and your location. To change the benchmark, simply use the drop down box on the right of the screen to pick between the National Benchmark Set and the Alps Customer Benchmark Set, then press Save.
