5+ in English and Maths

We have devised a series of video shorts to help you get the most from the tools and features in Connect.

The Student Analysis Overview section contains a 5+ GCSE comparison for English and maths. This comparison in the dropdown will allow you to sort your students in to categories according to their performance English and in Maths. Categories are:

Met in both - students getting 5+ grade in both
Below in mathematics - those with a 5+ grade in English but not maths
Below in English - those with a 5+ grade in maths but not English
Not me in either - below grade 5 in both

Note that the English calculation does use the highest grade from English Literature and English Language.
